Kuvings B8200 Whole Slow Juicer Matt Gunmetal

The Kuvings B8200 is the latest generation of their ever popular original B series whole slow juicer with a few new bells and whistles. It deploys the same child-safe flip gate lid found in their top of the range model, which prevents small hands from getting into the extra large 82mm diameter feed chute. The ingenious ‘flip gate’ is a hinged hopper attached to the top of the feed chute that you can place whole fruit or large ingredients onto and then flip it so that the ingredients just fall into the juicer. This obviates the need for the food pusher in most situations whereas with old style feed chutes you would have to push ingredients like whole apples down past a fin in the bottom of the chute.

As well as the new extra large chute the lid attachment points have been increased from 3 to 4 for a more stable connection. Kuvings B Series juicers give a slightly more textured juice than C series models, allowing a little more fibre into the drink which some people find preferable, especially when juicing fruits. This Kuvings model will do a great job with all juicing ingredients and if you like to juice a lot of apples, the new flip gate lid makes the B8200 a perfect choice, giving you a high yield of smooth cold pressed apple juice with minimum effort.

As with the rest of the range there are also some optional extras that make the B8200 more versatile (see product options top right). Although you can juice citrus fruits through the flip gate lid, peeling oranges for your morning OJ can be a chore. The optional citrus juicer module is great value and turns your Kuvings into an electric citrus juicer where no peeling is needed. Just slice the citrus fruit in half and press down on the gently spinning reamer and you have hassle free citrus juice. There’s also the optional homogeniser and smoothie screen kit for making sorbets, nut butters, purees, sauces and with the smoothie screen, delicious fruit smoothies.
