The Gefu Spiralfix Spiralizer comes with its own base which doubles up as a sealable container making the whole process self contained with the addition of a handy resealable tub for freshly cut ingredients. The large well designed handle keeps everything stable and gives this spiral slicer its second practical advantage - you don't even need to use the container as a base if you prefer. You can simply hold the Spiralfix Spiralizer mid air above any container you like, cutting spiral and noodle shapes directly onto a plate or into a salad bowl, for example. The third and possibly most ingenious advantage is that you don't have to remove and change blades for different cuts because the Spialfix has a rotating blade that you simply turn and lock to switch shapes.

I mostly use my spiralizer to make courgette spaghetti or noodles and find this model quick, easy and clean (it can go in the dishwasher if you have one). It’s the only one I’ve owned so I can’t comment on this being better then other models but I do use it weekly and recommend it. I bought it at full price so the current price is a bargain. i mostly use it with the little pot that comes with it attached as it is easier and quicker to apply a little pressure by pushing down but it works just as well without it if you want to cut your veg straight into a serving bowl. It was this or the proper japanese model for me but I don’t regret my choice.

Total disappointed
I was so looking forward to get this item. I think is totally useless: i have tried all different settings but occasionally it sliced a bit of courgette but most of the time it was just moving around in the container as it is really hard to keep the courgette standing and for the top to grip it properly. I have also tried sweet potatoes but gave up. would not recommend at all

GEFU Spiral
Brilliant bit of kit – loving the ease of use and amazing prep results – however I’m still learning.I found cleaning the machine was easier with a food scrub brush – still seems safe and compact. This is so easy! Quite compact too. Its smaller than I expected which suits me fine as I dont have much storage space.
Made great courgette noodles last night and stored them in the jar with the sealed lid attached to the spiraliser. Really useful to take to work. I shall be using this a lot. I also made potato noodles, sprayed some oul on them and cooked them in the oven……mmmmmm. Im sure the kids will love these too, much cheaper and healthier than buying those chemical laden things you buy in the shops. Easy to wash. Recomend!

I really like this. It seems well made, and it’s very simple to use. I’ve been spiralizing courgettes for raw pasta and it’s good for that. Easy to clean, seems quite robust too.
