This is a simple but well built product. All the parts are made of tough plastic of quality metal. It comes with three comb-like blades ad a large, flat blade. All are replaceable. There are many imitations of this model. There is no storage place for the unused blades and the feed do not have any form of suction. But functionally it works perfectly. You have to push the platform forward manually – there is no screw mechanism. This allows you more control over the final result. It may seem more expensive than all the rest but you soon forget that when you buy it – because it works and there are no regrets afterwards. By the way, this is the genuine article – made by Benriner.

I had previously bought a cheap vegetable slicer from another supplier. I wasn’t happy with it so decided to upgrade for the Benriner Turning Slicer. Product is well made, easy to clean and makes wonderful vegetable spaghetti. It makes salads much more interesting. Highly recommended!!

replacement blades
While this is an excellent product, Spare blades are not available in the event of them getting lost or damaged.
They are very small and could easily get lost which would render the machine unusable. For the price, I would expect the supplier to stock spare parts.
