The Cold Spin Technology™ deployed in the Nutri Juicer Cold XL is claimed to offer ‘insignificant temperature increase’ to the juice being produced. That sounds like a feature but we think it’s a bit of a red herring. It’s over a decade since we debunked the false claim that centrifugal juicers ‘heat up juice and damage nutrients’, but we can see why Sage would want to shoe-horn the word ‘cold’ into their juicer name, because of the increasing popularity of cold press juicers. While the so-called cold spin technology offers – we would say – no provable advantage whatsoever over other centrifugal juicers, we’ll forgive the marketing hype in this case because this is still an exceptionally good juicing machine. The ultra powerful 1500 watt motor means it will not bog down when you are feeding hard ingredients and to put it simply, for busy people juicing just doesn’t get any faster or more convenient than this. The powerful motor also allows the increase of the feed chute size to a gaping 88mm diameter so you can juice more as well as juicing faster each time you feed this hungry monster!
The solid die cast and stainless commercial grade construction exudes quality, and the sealable jug allows easy storage of a batch of juice of up to 2 litres. Sage Appliances, part of the Breville Group have a history of leading the way with high quality centrifugal juicers for the home user and their premium model, The Nutri Juicer Cold XL, continues that proud tradition. Highly recommended.
(* Please note, although the Sage Nutri Juicer Cold XL is a good choice for light commercial use in small catering businesses the product does not carry a commercial warranty)?
