In the contest between manufacturers to produce the lowest rotational speed, Tribest is the winner amongst Horizontal Cold Press Masticating Juicers with the Solostar 4. UK Juicers would just point out that nobody anywhere has ever proved that lower speed = better nutrition. Once you are slow enough to press juice without heat, our opinion is that a hundred rpm either way is not what will make the difference to your juicing experience. In fact, the slower speed of the Tribest Solostar 4 Juicer will mean it will take a bit longer to feed, but you are then rewarded with one of the highest juice yields we have seen from the horizontal auger juicer format. The juice quality is also excellent, with very little pulp and less foam than many other masticating juicers on the market.

Like most horizontal single auger machines the Tribest Solostar 4 also comes with a blank homogenising screen for purees and nut butters, plus pasta nozzles for extruding fettuccini and spaghetti from your favourite noodle or pasta dough. There’s a sieve included too, not that you will need it with such pulp free juice. There’s also a handy dust cover for the feed hopper, so you can leave it assembled ready to use without dust getting into the juicing parts. All in all, the Solostar 4 is a great example of a premium grade horizontal masticating juicer.
